Personality:

Yonah is a cheerful little girl, as friendly and fun-loving as one might expect of a child her age. She has more energy than she's allowed to use due to her fragile health and overprotective father, and so gets most of her fun from indoor activities such as diary/letter-writing and occasional attempts at cooking. (Note: children learning to cook without adult supervision is never a good idea.) She loves going outside when she can, and wants to help whenever her dad will let her; she's also pro-active enough about her illness to head out to the library against Dad's orders and research it herself...or wander miles away from the town in hopes she can find the cure on her own.

She's a child, and acts like one. She's stubborn and selfish as kids her age will be, though poor as they are, her selfishness tends to revolve mostly around spending time with her father. Thus her diary includes comments like "I know Dad's busy, so writing me every other day is okay," as if writing her letters when he's traveling through monster-infested lands is a perfectly easy thing for him to do, and feels perfectly justified in calling his attention away when his sole remaining friend leaves him (perhaps for good). This childishness is in no way impacted by her older age at the end of the game, as she was unconscious for the entirety of it and so is mentally still as young as she was at the beginning.

This isn't to say she's mean-spirited, or shallow...in actuality, she's more lonely than anything. She's left alone at home for days at a time while Nier is out trying to earn enough to support her, and as her illness won't allow her to even step outside most days, her dad has grown to be not only a beloved father, but quite possibly the single greatest shining ray of hope in her tiny life. She writes him letters daily, whether or not she gets replies, and she mentions multiple times in her diary how much she wishes she could do something besides wait for him - a wish she is unable to fulfill, due to her ever-worsening health. In her letters she mentions missing him, and how his worry over her illness pains her more than the illness itself. Her diary entries, too, mention how lonely she is - her active imagination is a double-edged sword here, amusing her when she has nothing to do, but also exacerbating her worries about the Black Scrawl covering her body, and making her empty house seem scarier than it really is. Despite this, she puts on a brave face whenever there's people around, smiling whenever Nier comes home, cheerful and happy whenever she gets to see the villagers or chat with Devola and Popolar. She tries her best not to make anyone worry; the only times she ever noticeably worries over her illness are in a single diary entry and a trashed letter, the latter of which says "I won't complain about my medicine anymore, I just want you by my side." Really, despite all her cheerful bravado and loving attitude, Yonah is a very lonely girl who wants nothing more than for her father to be able to spend time with her for once.

Abilities: N/A

Alignment: Aiada! She appreciates everything she's received in life, especially those precious moments she gets to spend with her dad. (She might also be a little jealous of people who can actually run around and play.)

Other: Being from Ending D means she's forgotten that Nier ever existed; her thoughts and motivations would therefore likely focus on Devola and Popola as her caretakers, as well as Kaine, who took Nier's place as the one who saved her at the end.
